Research Interests:
Despite advances in medical therapy, congestive heart failure (CHF) causes a high morbidity and high mortality with high prevalence, suggesting that investigation of the mechanism(s) and innovation for the prevention have a great impact on the field of CHF. The ubiquitin-proteasome system plays an important role in the elimination of damaged and misfolded proteins, as well as being involved in the rapid proteolysis of intracellular proteins. The aim of my research is to investigate the role of ubiquitin-proteasome system in the development of heart failure induced by a variety of stresses.
